​This is a 12-Month Diploma Program that provides excellent preparation for your future as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Develop your skills in providing care for the physical and emotional needs of patients, including the administration of medications, therapeutic treatments, and rehabilitation assistance. Plan and administer nursing care to patients in hospitals, extended care facilities, physicians’ offices, health-care agencies, and private homes.
Students are introduced to the clinical area early in the program. Theory and clinical procedures are integrated to reinforce learning. A certificate is issued at the successful completion of the program in accordance with State guidelines. Graduates are entitled to take the NCLEX-PN licensure examination.
